I moved to Grail, Delhi after a total of fourteen years in the U.S. and five years in Management Consulting. My motivation for such a big move (with my family) came from the opportunity to help build and scale up a differentiated company in the rapidly growing research industry in India. Grail continues to grow at a very rapid pace, presenting many challenges (or opportunities) in recruiting, developing and motivating people, setting up systems and processes that institutionalize productivity and quality, and in continuously delivering high value outcomes for our clients. These opportunities and the culture at Grail (open, non-hierarchical and entrepreneurial) have made the experience very rewarding, and I have never once regretted the decision to move back to India.

While I was pursuing MBA at Oxford, I decided to apply for jobs in India because of one main reason: opportunities were opening fast in India and hence gave the option to accelerate my growth rate in any industry. I have global exposure of working in Texas, US and United Kingdom, but always wanted to work in India in a company that offered global opportunities of different durations. Grail Research was a wonderful discovery for me and I wanted to work here with the energetic group of people in a fast growing environment. At Grail Research I have worked on assignments for a wide range of industries (insurance, real estate, medical devices, actuarial consulting, education, tourism) and for clients spread across the world. I have even had the opportunity to work out of our Beijing office and visited the Great Wall!
